My 2015 Word: Breathe.

Finding my happy place for 2015

Finding my happy place for 2015

Breathe when I’m overwhelmed.

Breathe when I’m stressed.

Breathe when I need a moment.

Breathe and then tell B to breathe when he is frustrated.

Breathe during my workouts, even if I look like a huffing heffalump.

Breathe when someone cuts me off in traffic.

Breathe when I get that unexpected work assignment before I leave for the day.

Breathe when the meltdowns start.

Breathe when life hands me moldy lemons that I can’t make lemonade from.

Breathe when I know I’m going to lose it.

Breathe when it’s too much.

Just breathe.

Do you have a word to live by for 2015?

About OneLoCoMommy

I live in Northern Virginia and and I look like the stereotypical suburban mom, for better or for worse. My son plays baseball and takes karate (albeit adaptive). My daughter is a gymnastics diva but rolls with the boys in T-ball. I've been a Room Mom and Playdate Coordinator. I work full-time, try to work out, and love my Book Club. However, I also blog on my experiences on our ASD, SPD and ADHD journey while trying to be a better parent advocate. All in a life's work.
